Zubair A. Khan
Zubair A. Khan is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in federal and state court. Mr. Khan comes to the firm after spending seven years practicing at the top commercial litigation firms in Chicago. He has served as lead counsel on a number of multi-million dollar disputes, successfully litigating the cases from pleadings through trial. Over the years, Mr. Khan has represented individuals and businesses, including many Fortune 500 companies, in their most complex disputes involving many areas of law, including the following:
- Breach of Contract
- Insurance Coverage
- Defamation
- Partnership and other Fiduciary Duty Disputes
- Fraud
- Employment Disputes, including Discrimination and Violation of Non-Solicitation and Non-Compete Provisions
- Antitrust (Price Fixing and Monopoly)
Mr. Khan has argued cases in federal and state courts across the country including Illinois, Indiana, New York, and North Carolina. He has appellate experience in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Illinois Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Khan currently resides in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University in 1998 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2001. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association. Mr. Khan is also the former President of the Muslim Bar Association of Chicago.
